Travelling on a sleigh pulled by a reindeer is a very old way of travelling in Finnish Lapland. This traditional mode of transport brings you closer to the beautiful peacefulness of the arctic forest just outside Rovaniemi.
During this trip you will go on an approximately 3.5 kilometer ride through the snowy forest in the sleigh pulled by reindeer. The ride takes place at the local reindeer farm nearby Rovaniemi, where you will meet the real reindeer herders who will tell you about their way of life hand in hand with nature. You will also get the chance to feed the reindeer with their favourite snack. Warm drinks and pastry are served indoors, whilst listening to the interesting stories about reindeer herding and the wilderness life in Finnish Lapland. The sleigh fits 2 adults and 1 to 2 small children.

Guide, thermal clothing (thermal overall, boots, gloves, woolen socks and a scarf), visit to the reindeer farm with a 3.5 km sleigh ride (duration of the ride approximately 30-45 minutes), hot drinks and cookies while listening to the stories of the reindeer herder way of life, return transfer from Rovaniemi city centre hotels, Santa Claus Village, Apukka Resort or Arctic Circle Wilderness Lodge.
Special conditions: A minimum 2 participants. If travelling alone, you can still book this experience as there might be other travellers participating.
