Start your husky winter adventure from Apukka Resort and make everlasting memories with the two most popular experiences combined: Dog sledding and Northern Lights hunting.
An experienced musher will brief you how to drive a dog sledding team before heading out into the forestland. This evening you will mush your own team of huskies on a 7-10 km dog sledding safari.
After the dog sledding tour, you will enjoy tasty sausages and hot drinks around a bonfire in a traditional Lappish hut called “kota”. You can also spend some quality time with the huskies whilst waiting for the Northern Lights to appear.
This excursion starts from the reception at Apukka Resort.

Thermal clothing during the safari (thermal overall, boots, gloves, woollen socks, a scarf), 7-10km husky ride, safety instructions, guide, husky petting, hot beverages, sausages.

Northern Lights: Kindly note that northern lights observations are never guaranteed (weather dependent; it must be dark, and the sky must be clear). No refund can be made for activities booked if you do not see the northern lights.
