Join a guided kayak tour and hike with an experienced guide from colourful Longyearbyen over the historical Adventfjord towards the ghost town of Hiorthamn on top of the mountain Hiorfjellet.
After a short briefing on the equipment and safety rules, you will paddle in sturdy double kayaks from colorful Longyearbyen towards the ghost town of Hiorthhamn. On the way you will pass the beautiful Adventfjorden, which is one of Svalbards most historical fjords. With a bit of luck you will be able to see a variety of wildlife. From over 100 species of migratory birds in summer, over to curious seals in the water. After reaching the other side of the fjord, you will enjoy lunch and a little historic sightseeing in the ghost town of Hiorthhamn.
