Visit the arctic nature of Svalbard on the hybrid-electric catamaran MS Bard. It will take you within 7 hours through magnificent landscapes, to Billefjorden and the glacier Nordenskiöldbreen.
Visit the beautiful and throughout the year changing arctic nature on Svalbard. Whether it is during the midnight sun or polar night – you will always experience beautiful nature! Early in the season you will be able to silently drive over the ice covered Billefjord and follow the ice edge.
The catamaran has been specially designed to leave the smallest footprint possible in the vulnerable Arctic nature. Noise and vibrations are minimized to disturb the wildlife as less as possible.
During the stretches around the glaciers, wildlife or settlements, the catamaran will run fully on electric propulsion. At higher speeds it is run by a hybrid solution, that makes it possible to speed up while reducing the diesel consumption.
You will see the beautiful glacier front of Nordenskiöldbreen, the ghost town Pyramiden from a distance and drive by the bay Skansbukta. With a bit of luck, you will be able to see various wildlife of Svalbard.
