This is a guided 3-hour walking tour along the historic Nasa trail through the Tjärnheden dead ice area with its abundance of lakes, following in Sami footsteps.
You will walk through large forests in the magical wilderness on a trail that has barely been used since the 18th Century. It was then used by Sami people for transporting silver from Nasa silver mine in the north to the coast of Skellefteå, a difficult crossing, over lakes, swamps and dense forests.
