Come along for a fantastic day with the King Crabs. You will be shown how to catch, prepare and most importantly eat these giants from the Barents Sea.
Red King Crabs can weigh up to 10 kilos and have a leg span of 1,8 meters. An experienced fisherman will take you to the pier in front of the first King Crab restaurant in Norway and show you how to catch the King Crabs. He will also talk about the giants history in Norway. You will be hands helping on pulling up the King Crab cages from the depths. Afterwards, your guide will show you how the local way of preparing the King Crabs is and will take you back to the restaurant where you can try the fresh meal with a fantastic view over the fjord.
